Wired author Jean Snow has published a short article on FLOCK! on the Wired Blog today.

UFOs, Sheep, and Crop Circles Abound in Capcom's FLOCK!

FLOCK! puts you in control of a UFO, hovering around plush fields and pastures as you try to herd various farm animals to your mother ship.

The challenge comes in trying to deal with the ways all those animals react to you and your spacecraft's arsenal of tools, like a Tractor Beam to move obstacles, or a Depressor Beam to create your very own crop circles -- they help guide the animals.

The lush visuals seen throughout the environments really do look quite nice, which should make it that much easier to spend time trying to figure out the best route to guide your herds. Taking the time to explore is good too -- even though finishing within the time limit will give extras, the levels themselves are filled with hidden bonuses that have their own rewards.
