Things have been quite quiet round Proper Towers this last wee while - keep an eye out for some exciting news towards the end of the year though! We had a few interns in at the end of the summer which was great - hopefully for them too! - and I should have an update about that soon, but in the meantime, here's a quick round up of some Dundee news...

Dundee companies have been in the press a lot recently, with Digital Goldfish and Realtime Worlds getting mentions in the Guardian's top 100 Tech Media Companies, while our neighbours Ruffian continue to garner press with their Crackdown 2 tidbits - I recommend following them on twitter (http://twitter.com/RuffianGames) for all the latest news, and Denki visited the British Matchplay Scrabble Championship's with their new game Quarrel!  Some of our team were involved in mentoring at the Next Level, and were very impressed with the team work and out put from the event, especially since it is in it's first year.  Hopefully it'll be back next year too!

Finally, in November this year Dundee is playing host to NEoN Digital Arts Festival.  In it's inaugural year, the festival has secured some amazing speakers, including Bud Luckey from Pixar, and Dundee's own Dave Jones and Colin Anderson.  Tickets are on sale now, and there will be events throughout the city over the weekend in conjunction with the festival, including a performance from Video Games Live - who are kick starting their European tour here. It looks like its going to be a great weekend - keep an eye out on the website for up to date news!

So things have been pretty busy in the city recently - and hopefully we'll have some Proper exciting news for you soon!
