After the success of Neil MacKay's work experience week, we were happy to invite Peter McKeown into the office for a week of programming experience. Here's what he had to say about it:

'Following in Neil's footsteps, I also recently completed a week's work experience with Proper Games. My career choice is games programming. Although I have been working on an internet MOD for a few years, my week with Proper Games exceeded all my expectations. The guys, and Jenni, were all incredibly welcoming, and answered all my questions very patiently. Special thanks to Danny, who helped with my programming queries. The atmosphere, although laid back, was very productive, and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to contribute and use my programming knowledge on another prototype which you may see in Proper Labs. I too found it fascinating to see all aspects of how the industry works, and my week with Proper Games has made me all the more determined to pursue a career in the gaming industry.'

We certainly enjoyed having Peter with us for the week - we're hoping to have some of Peter's work up on our new Labs page in the near future!  Speaking of the Labs page - if any of you have played Squirt let us know what you think of it on on our forums!
